In 1985, devoted Father Bill Furlong uncovers troubling secrets held by a local monastery and uncovers some shocking truths of his own. When Cillian Murphy discussed working with Tim Mielants again, Murphy’s wife suggested that the novel “Little Things Like This”; make into a movie. After acquiring the rights with producing partner Alan Moloney, Murphy pitched the idea to Matt Damon, who has set up a studio with Ben Affleck while filming the film.

I think the film is an important watch, I thought it would have leaned more towards the monastic and brutal side of things.

happened, but this was the Bills story. I felt the pain in my chest the whole movie, wanting him to say something to do something, but also knowing the consequences he and his entire family would face if they dared to question the church. The fact that these hellholes were open until 1998 is a disgrace and a disgrace to this country, and a church that saw power nuns and priests who believed they had the right is infuriating.
